Prioritized Daily Task

Ally Kimball Markey's 32nd birthday

Matthew was up early and gone before Debbie and I had prayer.  We ate breakfast.  Later when Matthew got home from hiring a salesperson; opening his office up in Provo, and purchasing so supplies, I went with him to the cabin in Heber.  We picked up Melodie's and the girls' winter clothes and stored them and the ski equipment.  I went through all the books, files,  journals, etc. in the closet under the stairs, the closet in the downstairs bedroom where the trunk I restored while I was on my mission in West Central States in Billings, MT, and the boxes and shelves in the garage at the cabin.  I could not find the book I was looking for, By Reason and by Faith, The Life of Henry S. (Smith) Tanner, by Chad M. Orton.  Note: Henry's father was Joseph born June 11, 1833, in Bolton, New York to John Tanner and Elizabeth Beswick.   John Tanner's posterity, many of them helped the Church out in many major ways. While his sons Myron and Albert served in the Mormon Battalion during the USA's war with Mexico in the 1840s, others of his distant relatives served in various major Church positions including apostles (Francis Myron Lyman, Richard Roswell Lyman, N. Eldon Tanner).                                                                                          When Matthew and I got home, Debbie prepared a nice dinner.  We watched an episode of Chosen on the life of Christ before having prayer and going to bed.  Matthew invited me to ride home with him and attend's Blake, my grandson's birthday, and fly back next Friday.  I talked to Debbie and she said she would be OK and to go.  She wants to stay and be here if Jody, her daughter who has cancer, is going to be OK.  Debbie helped me put all the boxes and large black 50-gallon plastic bags of Christmas decorations on the overhead storage racks in the garage.  We still have the Christmas wreaths and lights on the outside to take down and store for next year.  Matthew worked all day at the office.  Debbie made dinner and we had prayer before going to bed.  Matthew has to get up early.
