24 Sep 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task 10:30 AM - Abbington Memory Center 12:00 Noon - Lehi 7th Ward 2 p.m. - Debbie and Karlene return from Mary Kay's memorial service Note:  John 17:3   And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. Perhaps the greatest indicator of character is the capacity to recognize and appropriately respond to other people who are experiencing the very challenge or adversity that is most immediately and forcefully pressing upon us.  Character is revealed, for example, in the power to discern the suffering of other people when we ourselves are suffering; in the ability to detect the hunger of others when we are hungry; and in the power to reach out and extend compassion for the spiritual agony of others when we are in the midst of our own spiritual distress.  Thus, character is demonstrated by looking and reaching outward when the natural and instinctive response is to be self-absorbed and

I also saw Kaleb Jones, the grandson of Miso Ostarcevic, the basketball player from Croatia, who is a friend of Mirko's.  They both came to the United States during the war in the 1990s.) Because humans are so new as a species, our global family is especially tight-knit.  Using the math for

22 Sep 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task 7:30 a.m. - Debbie and Karlene to St. George and Page, Lees Ferry Crossing on CO until Sunday, Sep 24thn  (Saturday or Sunday a memorial service for Mary Kay.  Danny planned it but her sister, Anetia, is in charge.  They plan to spread Mary Kay's ashes on the CO. River at Lee's Ferry, near Page, AZ.) Note:  Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte is often credited with having first used the expression of an "iron fist in a velvet glove" to signify that firmness can be couched with outward gentleness.  I am afraid this philosophy is being used on people today by many leaders of the world.  I do not like people trying to deceive others.   Jody was up early and left; Debbie, Karlene, and I had prayer together before they left.  I brought the Land Rover in the garage with the garage door remote control.  I sent Kristi Jensen, tour agent, an email about our cruise and tour of Ireland in June and July 2024.  20 Sep 2023, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task 12 Noon - Debbie's appointment for Sinsus cat-scan spray plants and flowers Note:   The music of the gospel is the joyful spiritual feeling that comes from the Holy Ghost. It brings a change of heart.  An old Native American man with long braided hair came into the emergency room.  The doctor approached the man, and asked, “How can I help you?”  The old man looked straight ahead and said nothing.  The young doctor, desiring to help this man, tried again. “I can't help you if you don’t speak to me,” he said. “Why have you come to the hospital?”  The old man looked at him and asked, “Do you dance?”  The doctor was puzzled by the strange question when it occurred to him that perhaps this man was a tribal medicine man who, according to ancient tribal customs, sought to heal the sick through song and dance rather than using some of the more modern medical practices.  “No,” said the doctor, “I don’t dance. Do you dance?”  The old man no
