Prioritized Daily Task

Debbie and I slept in, had prayer, showered, and started the day.  My back is still causing me pain when I kneel to pray.  Debbie and. I had oat meal and toast for brunch.  We attended Lehi 7th, Gateway Stake, ward conference.  Bishop Yates was sick this morning and his Counselor Bunderson spoke and President Ehad presided.   He and his counselors spoke.  Note:  *His counselor taught a combined Priesthood and Relief Society meeting.  He taught about temples and family ordinance work on a timeline from 1831 to the present 2023.  In 1836 Elijah returned and restored the keys for turning the heart of children to the fathers and the hearts of fathers to the children.  In 1842 baptism for the dead was instituted and in 1844 the New England Genealogical Society was organized.  1n 1893 the Salt Lake Temple was dedicated and in 1894 the Utah Genealogical Society, Family Search, was organized.  In 1998, the 100th temple was built or was announced to be built after the 1st temple 166 years earlier and 25 million census records in England and the US were released.  In 1999, Family Search.org (internet) was released.  in 2018, 24 years after the 100th temple was announced, the 200th temple was announced and Ordinances Ready was introduced.  In 2022 President Russell M. Nelson announced the 300th temple would be built.  Only 4 years for the next 100 temples.  With Ordinances Ready the focus now is on doing work for our dead not on just doing work for the dead.  This is a great work we have to do and how we use our time on earth is very, very important.*  Debbie prepared a nice meal, shepherd's pie and baked asparagus with soda water, for dinner.  I called and talked to Beth and Maggie but could not get Michael, Matthew, or Rae Lynn.  I left a message, Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.
