Wells Fargo Bank to Samantha, Personal Banker, to get the package of information back to Sam to get Debbie on our joint checking account so as to be able to deposit into the account

Drop off USB drive to Alpha Graphics to print 2022 Journal

I was up early this morning at 5:00 AM.  I had prayer before going back to bed but could not get in a position where I was in no pain.  I got up, which is difficult.  I have to roll on my stomach after putting the mattress from a reclining to a flat position, easing my feet and legs off the bed and onto the floor.  From a position on my knees, keeping my back straight I can push up with my arms using my knees as support until I am standing straight.  I moved and deposited $20,000, the last of the money, Debbie gave me to pay for the Palace Resort program she purchased while we were in Cancun, Mexico last month.  We still need to get the monthly charges to be made on her charge card.  I texted Brad Gale asking about the radiologist who does the Intervertebral DXM Gel Injection.  I text Brad Gale and got the name of Doctor Wendall Gibby at Blue Rock Medical, 3152 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84604, and his phone number 801-229-2022. I called the office and Dr. Gibby is out of the country but his two sons are there and can do the procedure.  She said they would need a referral from the doctor and then get authorization from Humana Insurance.  Debbie and I went to Wells Fargo Bank and took the package Dan Truitt sent to get Debbie on my tax account.  We saw Sam and left the package with her.  She made an appointment for us to come back tomorrow at 4 PM.  I cashed the Capital One cash-back check for about $400 and gave Debbie $100 for spending money.  The rest went into our stash to pay Tate for cutting grass and working in the yard this year.  From there we went to Alpha Graphics and I gave the USB drive to download my 2022 Journal.  Phil Davis will check it and give me a price for printing tomorrow.  We came home. Matt McCleary, tax attorney, called.  We have an appointment to meet with him Monday week the 27th and 3 PM.  Debbie went to get her hair fixed and I worked on getting our 2022 tax information together.  When Debbie got home she took over putting our 2022 tax information on an Excel spreadsheet for the accountant and tax lawyer.  We ate dinner and watched a movie before having prayer and going to bed.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
