Drive to Twin Fall to visit Jodi Traveller, who had surgery, and family
Debbie was up early and went to her aerobic training at the Legacy Center. I slept in until I got 8 hours of sleep, had prayer, showered, shaved, and read scriptures before Debbie got home. My back is doing better and I can move more now without a lot of pain. Debbie got home and used the snow blower to clean the snow off the drive and walkway. Debbie and I ate breakfast and went shopping for Pam Allenbalk's home to make it more handicapped assessable. Debbie took a mirror her dad made, a folding makeup table, and stopped at Lowe's and Walmart for parts to hang the mirror, plastic trays for makeup, toothpaste, a curling iron, etc. Pam and Rick's home is in Orem in a subdivision off State Street. Jared and his son, Tate, had just finished building a wheelchair ramp. Jared helped me hang the mirror, and Debbie and Pam set up the makeup table with the wash basin, towel stand, and other things we brought. We took some pictures. Laura was there today to help Pam as Debbie does on the days she helps Pam when Rick is at work and no one else is home. We drove back home; packed and loaded the Subaru and drove up to Twin Falls. We got there for dinner; Jodi had made a chicken pot pie with jello. Tony, Jodi, Cache, Clari, Cooper, Kenna, Shelby, and Libby were home. I took a few minutes and told them how my grandmother gave my sisters and me silver dollars when she came to visit after she retired. I told them I had given each of the grandchildren a silver dollar in 2019 except for them. I want them to have one. I am carrying on a tradition my Grandma (Moma Thrash) started over 70 years ago. I opened my email and had my Thyroid lab report back and it was normal. About 20% of the vertebra is broken off and will continue to be chipped away as I walk and put pressure on it. It can be built back up with nonevasive surgery. I will talk to him some more and pray about the procedure and let the Lord guide me in what to do. I received the appraisal, $2,090,000 on the 40 acres in Cleveland, Georgia from Danny T. Almond, Certified Appraiser and a charter member of GAAPA, that James Morris, Wayne Abercrombie, and I owned together. He charges $1,500 for commercial appraisals but discounted it to me for $800 because he was sick and it took so long for him to get it completed. I sent the appraisal and bill to Matthew. He and Melodie who is in Dallas, Texas with Madeline at the national cheerleading competition. Debbie and I had family prayer with Shelby, Libby, Cache, and Cooper and their wives, Clari and Kenna. Cache showed the family his and Clara's new house plans. Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.
