Prioritized Daily Task

6:00 AM - Debbie, Water aerobics at Lehi Legacy Center

9:00 AM - Skype on the computer with Mirko, Ljubic, and Bojana Jelicic

Check on Ring (front doorbell and camera)

Debbie was up early this morning and went to the Legacy Center for her aerobic class.  I had prayer and studied scriptures.  I checked my glucose or blood sugar; it was 94.  A reading of  99 mg/dL or lower is normal.  My diet, supplements, etc. with walking is apparently working.  The Lord is guiding and blessing me and my family.  It does not mean we don't have challenges.  It is how we learn not to fear, to have faith and trust in Him.  When Debbie got home we had prayer together.  At 9 AM we Skyped with Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana.  We are getting Mirko and Ljubica an airline ticket to travel to the USA the middle of June and Bojana to travel here on the first of August.  All three returning on the 13th of September.  I went to the Legacy Center to walk.  I called and talked to Elain, my sister.  She is having problems with her back and knee, Osteoporosis, caused by a lack of calcium in the bones.  The same problem our sister has and our mother had.  Debbie fixed a plant-based dinner, we watched a movie on TV, and we had prayer before going to bed.  I read and studied scriptures before going to sleep.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
