Prioritized Daily Task

12:00 Noon Provo City Center Temple with Alexandra "Alex"

2:30 PM - Alex invited us to lunch

Lawn Doctor scheduled for maintenance on the lawn

Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready to got the Provo City Center Temple.  Alexandra, "Alex", texted asking if I would give her a blessing.  We set an appointment to Zoom with the Jelicics on Monday the 17th.  Debbie and I composed an email to respond to Esefani Pech Cu at Palace Resorts.  Debbie and I attended the Provo City Center Temple for family members who have passed on.  Alex was supposed to meet us at 11:30 AM but did not make it.  After the session, we received a text giving us directions to her apartment at BYU.  She had prepared a nice lunch for us with no meat, cheese, or things. we are not eating.  We had soup, salad, and for dessert,  fruit, and banana bread.   She asked me to give her a priesthood blessing.  We talked for some time, Debbie led us in prayer and I gave Alexandra Marie McAlpin, my granddaughter, a blessing from her Heavenly Father.  After lunch we helped her clean the kitchen,  she went to class, and Debbie and I went to Clara's softball game.  We got home and I worked on an email letter to Jimmy, Nancy, Janie, Rick, Holly, Shannon, Michael, and Matthew.  I will send it in the morning.  Debbie and I had prayer, read scriptures, and got to bed after midnight.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W.  20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
