Prioritized Daily Task

Debbie Kimball's 52nd Birthday

7 AM - take Max's Lincoln to have the wheels aligned

10 AM - drive Max over to his and Debbie's apartment across from the Atlanta Temple

Lookup Billy Jean Pruitt in McAlpin Genealogy Book.  He was b. 1934, he lives in Piedmont, AL phone number is 256-447-8744

I was up about 4 AM, had my personal prayer, and worked on email to Andy Morris.  Matthew had made some corrections and I made some to his before sending it to Michael and Matthew asking for their input before I sent it at 10 AM EST to Andy. (Email below)  I went for a walk and jog for about an hour.  I did about 100 pushups.  I showered, shaved, and listed to ANM conference on YouTube Sister Rebecca Melonakos sent with Elder David Bedhar presiding and speaking yesterday, 21 May.  President Kevin Field is still there as Mission President of Adriatic North Mission with his wife, Sister Dianna Field.  President Bedhar was the concluding speaker.  He told of a 13-year-old girl paralyzed from her neck down and about her faith, love, and attitude.  I thought about Emily Traveller.  I took the Lincoln to Adam and Zuker.  I got there about 6:30 AM and waited until 7:20 AM when Susan arrived and opened.  Her mother, Joann still runs the business.  Joann dad, Gus Zuker started the tire business in 1942.  I remember coming here with my dad when I was about 9 years old.  I was first in line to get the alignment done.  I took a book and read while I waited.  Max came in the pickup truck and paid.  We came home and had breakfast before going to Atlanta.  On the way we stopped and picked up food for lunch and dinner today and breakfast and lunch tomorrow.  I talked to Michael and Matthew about the email I sent to Andy.  Neither one has contacted an attorney.  Matthew has reservations about using Arnold, Golden, Gregory's law firm.  He and Melodie think it is like swatting a nat with a sledgehammer, using a huge law firm to handle such a small LLC's challenge.  I tried calling Arnold, Golden, Gregory.  I spoke with Debra Jones, secretary who tried to put me in contact with an attorney who handles corporations and contracts but no one was available.  She said she would have someone call.  No one contacted me today.  I know it is best I trust the Lord to help me handle this.  He has gone before me so many times, there is no reason to doubt He is going before me now.  I decided to return home on Wednesday so I will be able to attend Cooper and Kenna's sealing in the Twin Falls Temple.  Matthew is getting me a ticket to fly to SLC around 11 AM and Debbie is coming back home and will pick me up.  Max and I had prayer together.  Debbie was helping at Libbie's seminary party in Twin Falls.  I texted Dan and checked on him and Ora.  She is not doing well and Dan's health is going down.  I called and talked to Elain.  She is having her left knee replacement done this Wednesday.  I studied and had prayer before going to sleep.

Dear Andy,

Michael and I want to express how much we enjoyed our visit with you and Jan last Friday.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your offer to mediate a breakup and division of the assets between James, Wayne, and myself.

I was friends and did business with James, your brother, for many years and almost as long with Wayne.  I do not want to see that friendship with our families end.

As we discussed, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of what assets are involved before we can proceed with dividing them. We have obtained commercial appraisals for Gateway Nursing Home, Floyd, and Chulio Hills Nursing Home, as well as the approximately 40 acres of land within the city limits of Cleveland. However, we have encountered a roadblock as the financial and corporate documents of A&M Investments have not been made available to us.  This is where we could get you to help with Jimmy Morris.  I feel I have a right to anything I want to review.  This will help me feel more at peace with everything.

I am not asking for anything excessive.  I ask Jimmy to provide journal entries and all financial records he has been keeping in QuickBooks since 2015, access to bank statements for all accounts, and all original corporate documents.  This is important to avoid involving attorneys in this process.  With your help, we can facilitate a smooth division of the assets, and everyone can feel comfortable.

Additionally, if any member of A&M Investments wishes to access and obtain copies of any specific transaction or canceled checks predating 2020, Jimmy can authorize the bank to provide that information.  Once an audit of A&M Investments has been completed, we will have a comprehensive overview of the assets, enabling you to move forward with brokering a fair division between the families of James, Wayne, and myself.

Thank you again for your willingness to assist us in this matter.

Best regards,

Len (James L. McAlpin)

PS:  Andy so you are protected please have Jimmy personally deliver all records to you, have them delivered by courier, or send them by secure registered mail.
