Prioritized Daily Task

10:30 AM -ID Falls Temple Appointment (Proxy Initiatory) 14 Jul 2023

Work on resending emails to Eric Fisher that he could not open

Spend the night at Karlene's in Shelly, ID

I was up last night until after 12:30 AM.  I texted Matthew that I was going to bed.  I saw that he texted me back at 1:17 AM; he had just got the children to bed.  He said he would help me this morning.  Debbie and I had prayer, showered, shaved, got dressed, studied scriptures, and had a slice of toast with honey, peanut butter, and some almond milk.  Debbie, Karlene, Mirko, Ljubica, and I drove up to the Idaho Falls Temple.  We did initiatory work for family members that have passed on.  Mirko and Ljubica did family names, and Debbie and I did family names.  When we finished we met Karlene at Smitty's for brunch.  Karlene had to find some potato boxes for Reed to sell some potatoes to a lady who is coming by his house.  When we got back home I worked on email and letter to Eric Fisher.   Debbie and Karlene got home from shopping and cooked dinner, salmon, tilapia, steak, salad, rice, corn-on-cob, etc.  After dinner, we watched Grayhound, a movie with Tom Hanks.  Mirko went to bed, Matthew called and he and Melodie helped me get an answer to Eric Fisher regarding the legal information he sent the other day.  I sent the emails in a format he could open.  I still need to make suggestions regarding the draft letter he is sending to Janie.  Ljubica went to bed; Debbie and Karlene finished watching the movie.  Afterward, they mopped and cleaned the kitchen and dining area.  Debbie and I had prayer and I studied some in the book of Acts and had prayer before going to bed, before midnight.

This could possibly be partly true but is not necessarily entirely true; Through the atonement of Christ, we can have the best of the past and the best of the present; our mistakes erased and at the same time we gain wisdom.  We learn not to make the same mistakes again. (James Leonard McAlpin) - Hebrews 8: For I (the Lord) will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. Alma 40:23 The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame.     This could possibly be partly true but is not necessarily entirely true; Through the atonement of Christ, we can have the best of the past and the best of the present; our mistakes erased and at the same time we gain wisdom.  We learn not to make the same mistakes again. One time I met a man who only had a month to live and I asked him if he had any advice that he could give. He said, “I wake each morning knowing I am going to die.  So each day must remind me I am blessed to be alive.  You see, my life’s on countdown as each hour is unfurled.  I know the clock is ticking on my time here in this world.  But what you’re overlooking is that it’s the same for you—you know that I am dying but forget that you are, too.  So make the most of sunshine and go dancing in the rain and sing a little louder when your favorite music plays.  Notice nature’s colors, savor everything you taste.  Stop waiting for tomorrow ‘cause you’ve got no time to waste.  And could you say convincingly that you have no regrets?  If just the next few days or weeks were all that you had left?  And then by breath caught quickly when he turned to me and asked “Could you say that you died happy if this day had been your last?”
