Prioritized Daily Task

Samantha "Sam" Gourley Traveller's 21st Birthday

6:00 PM - Samantha at the Gourley House - Reval the sex of the child party (party canceled because the test was inconclusive)

Visit possible work options for Bojana-REAL, JAZZ, BYU, and Utah State (Debbie is making copies of her resume and copies of her picture) Debbie is going to try and get the names of individuals from Bojana that she would like for us to contact.

I slept in, had prayer, and checked on the sprinklers on the lawn.  There are a few spots not getting enough water.   Program B did not come on this morning at 5 AM so Debbie turned it on manually.  I called Raul who was the last plumber to work on them.  He said he was not doing sprinklers any longer; it takes too much time.  I need to find someone else. Debbie suggested I talk to Trebor at the Lawn Doctor for help to get someone to balance the sprinklers.  We had prayer together and Mirko and I went to the Legacy Center.  I received a text from Lawn Doctor giving me the phone number of Hot Shot Sprinkler Repair, 385-343-542.  I called and got their answering machine.  I left a message with my phone number.  I exercised and Mirko and I walked for about 30 minutes.  I received an email from Eric Fisher regarding the response from Janie and Jimmy Morris' attorney. I replied to Eric's email.  We are waiting for confirmation on a phone conference for tomorrow at 3:30 PM EST.  We had leftovers for dinner tonight; studied Acts 17th and 19th chapters in Come Follow Me.  We had prayer together and Mirko and Ljubica watched part of a movie on TV.  Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.

Note:   When an incoming storm approaches, cows run away—which ultimately means they spend more time in the worst of it. Buffalo, on the other hand, charge directly into the storm. By running straight through it, they minimize the time they spend in it and the pain they suffer.

Another story from Debbie: So tonight as I was cooking I was thinking about life.  And I said in my subconscious “I’ve reached my breaking point.”  I began to make cornbread and cracked two eggs and I heard “Now, I can use you!”  You see an egg can’t be used until it’s broken.  I immediately found joy in the breaking!!  Not everyone will understand this, but to those who do, be encouraged.  Yes, you’re at your breaking point!  But that’ ok!  You are now ready to be used!

Pioneers: They cut desire into short lengths, And fed it to the hungry fires of courage, Long after—when the flames died, Molten gold gleamed in the ashes.  They gathered it into bruised palms, And handed it to their children,  And their children’s children.
