7:00 AM - 8:00 AM - Freedom Run with Beth, Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew

9:00 AM - Breakfast at Kneaders 

7:00 PM - leftovers for dinner

9:00 PM - Smores on the firepit and Italian Sodas 

10:00 PM - neighborhood fireworks professional done

Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready to drive down to the finish line at the Freedom Run.  Debbie had the idea last night of making a sign to hold up for Matthe and Beth's families that ran in the 5-K and 10-K Freedom Run.  We took pictures and all met at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Orem.  We stopped and bought some fireworks for tonight.  Rae Lynn, Brett, and the boys are at the cabin.  Matthew and Beth are going up.  There was talk of going to Provo Lake but the children were tired from last night and then getting up early this morning.  We stopped at Walmart and picked up a few things for tonight if the grandchildren come over.  Later everyone came except Michael, Autumn, Alexandra, and Grace who are at the McEwen reunion.  Gavin is in England and Blake is in Ecuador.  We grilled pork ribs and chicken.  Debbie and Ljubica cooked and made the trimmings.  We shot fireworks after. 10 to after 11 PM.  The fireworks in. our neighborhood was well done, up to a professional level if not it was close to one.  Dan and May Hammond were out with some of their children with us.  Dan and his sons helped us clean the used fireworks up off the street.  We had family prayer before they left.  Mirko and Ljubica went to bed.  Debbie and I had prayer before going to bed.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W. Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
