Call Debbie with flight information for Saturday - bring boots, white socks, garments, casual clothes, shirts, pants/bluejeans, toothpaste, etc

Go with Dan to get a suite for the funeral

Return Budget Rental Car to the Airport

I was up early, had prayer, and got a flight arranged to fly to St. George this Saturday to meet Debbie and our friends.  I took the rental car back to Budget and caught a cab back to Dan's.  The driver was Luis Rozzetti, one of the owners of the 850TAHI-COM company.  He charged the same rate $70 as Uber.  Dan was the only one up when I arrived.  I called and talked to Debbie.  We had prayer before she started packing for the trip south for a few weeks.  She is bringing my boots, more clothes, toothpaste, etc.  Susan and Amy picked their dad up and took him to the Men's Wearhouse and got him a suite for the funeral.  Elain is still sleeping.  Scott, Amy's husband, and the children, Daniel, Truitt, and Gracey.  arrived.  Dan got boxes of pictures down from the garage.  I started going through them to find pictures of Ora that Amy plans to use in the video.  Jeanette and Steve got back and helped me go through the pictures.  I pulled some of the pictures to show it is "a family thing to be nimble".  Jeannette drives their van because she is afraid to let her husband, Steve, drive.  Dan pulled in behind the van.  Dan and I helped her, Steve, and Elain load the van.  When Jeannette left she backed into Dan's car.  She was not thinking and had forgotten Dan's car was behind her. It did little or no harm to the van or car.  Later today Elain got sick and I took her to an Urgent Care facility.  They checked her but when they realized it was her heart causing the problem.  They would not treat her and told us to go to the hospital emergency room where they are equipped to treat her.  I stopped at a CVS pharmacy and bought her 2 bottles of low-dose aspirin before taking her to Sacred Heart Hospital Emergency Room.  They drew blood and ran some test but did not admit her.  I went grocery shopping while she was in the emergency room.  I came back with some food for her and we drove out to Brian and Susan's.  Dan was there with Brian.  Susan had gone to the airport to pick Truit up.  Amy, her family, and her dog were over at Susie's, Brian's mother's home.  Brian had BOQ waiting for us when we arrived.  I got out the potato salad and took it in.  After we ate, we brought Dan back home.  I called Debbie and had prayer with her, Mirko, Ljujbica, and Bojana.  Afterward, I had my personal prayer before going to bed at about midnight.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
