Debbie, Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana in Cedar City - Grants and Temple
*Note: It came to me today that I don't think I have ever stumbled in my faith, but I have stumbled in my faithfulness.
I was up this morning and had my personal prayer. Rae Lynn texted and wanted me to help her financially to come to her Aunt Ora's funeral. I showered, shaved, and washed clothes for Dan and me this morning. I called Debbie early and she texted me. She called later; she had been talking to Jared. He wants to start a business to earn more income to build a home and better provide for his family. She was behind schedule. Mirko had put some of the suite cases in the car and they were all trying to leave for the trip south. We did not have prayer together. I sent a text to Betty by Blake asking Blake to read the text to Betty wishing her a happy birthday from me and Debbie. I talked to Matthew. He sent me a picture of him taking the girls to the first day of school in 2023-2024 year. He has a meeting tomorrow morning with a large company regarding his software he is marketing. The next day he is taking Melodie on a trip for their 10th anniversary which has been pushed back since August 21, 2010. Beth can not come because she has no one to watch Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew. am she also works teaching school. I had some oatmeal and toast for breakfast; Dan went to get his hair cut and pick up his suit at the Men's Wearhouse that has completed the alterations. He also went by Wells Fargo to deposit a check in our escrow tax account. I studied scriptures. At about 2 PM we went to lunch at Carrabba's. Elain, my sister, went next door to a bar and restaurant that specializes in chicken that the hairdressers were talking about being so good and got a child's meal. She brought it into Carrabba. Our waiter was very patient and considerate. He took Elain's salmon back and got her another salmon plate. The spinach was not right and they brought her another plate of spinach. Steve Hughes at almost all of his stake and our waiter brought him another stake. We got 4 take-home boxes and brought the food home that we did not eat. I took all this into consideration when I tipped the young waiter who served us. Dan brought us all home. Elain, Jeanette, and Steve packed and Dan took them to a motel. Later I went to Susan with Dan. All the family was there going through pictures and preparing for the funeral tomorrow. Later I got in the ClearLight Sauna for 30 minutes at 137 degrees F. I showered and cleaned up, played games with the children, and afterward Dan and I came back to his home. Elain called and ask if I would bring the Cranberry Concentrate she left in the refrigerator to her at the La Quanta Inn a little over a mile from Dan's. While I was gone Dan started setting up the house for Amy, Scott, and the 3 children, Daniel, Patrick, and Gracey. Debbie texted me; she, Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana are at the Grants in Cedar City. Debbie Mirko, and Ljubica went on a sealing session at the Cedar City Temple. David Grant, our mission president, is a sealer at the temple. Bojana took a book and waited for them in the Temple Waiting area. I called and we all had prayer together. Amy and her family got here. I visited with them, had my personal prayer, and went to bed.
