Ljucica Jelicic's 71st Birthday

We had prayer together, showered and shaved before breakfast.

Check out of Holiday Inn Express in Lebec and drive to Pier 39 San Francisco and meet Gavin, late lunch at Fisherman Wharf and dessert at Ghirardelli Chocolate factory established in San Francisco in 1852.

We were up early, had prayer, showered, shaved, got dressed, and packed.  We have got organized on this trip and have small bags we take in so there is not much effort in packing the car when we leave.  I drove last night through LA and up to Lebec; after we filled the car with gas, I let Debbie drive to San Francisco.  We had to stop and fill the car with gas again.  I had called Gavin and made arrangements for him to meet us at Pier 39.  We toured the pier, took pictures of the sea lions, and bought a birthday card for Ljubica.  We walked down to Fisherman's Wharf and had a late lunch or early dinner.  From there we walked up the hill to Ghirardelli's and had dessert, and wished Ljubica a happy 51st birthday.  Ghirardelli Chocolate had their 100 anniversary in 1952.  The same year Ljubica was born.  Gavin is a senior at Burkley University; he has over 600 pages to read tonight and reports to complete before class tomorrow.  He went back to his apartment and we got our car where we had parked in public parking across from Pier 39.  We drove to the Palace of Fine Arts and walked down to the bay where we took pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge and the sun setting.  I drove a short distance north to Muir Woods Lodge and checked in, Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana in one room and Debbie and I in another.  We all had prayer together and when back in our room Debbie and I had prayer.  I have been trying to study the scriptures some every day but have slipped some.

 25 Feb 2023, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task Shelby Traveller's 19th birthday Debbie and I had prayer together before she left with the girls to a fitness exercise high peak class at Jazzworks, one of the 19 things Jodi has planned for Shelby's 19th birthday today.  Afterward, they got Shelby's car washed and brought breakfast home.  Debbie brought me a dairy-free fruit smoothie, and I had some oatmeal.  I did not eat any of the french toast they brought back for breakfast.  Later they all went to get a pedicure.  I listened to Jared Halverson's podcast Come Follow Me on some of the miracles of Christ.  I also read some before calling Charlie Hibbert and Ora, my sister.  I tried to call Dan Lester in Cedartown but no answer.  I went for a walk along the canyon wall before Jodi, Debbie, and the children got home.  Cache and Cooper got back from snowmobiling.  Debbie and Jodi prepared lunch.  After lunch we rode around Twi...

 21 Jul 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Legacy Center black and brown shoe polish Neosporin and toothpaste for Mirko and Ljubica Hair cut 10:00 AM - Ljubica's hair appointment 12:00 Noon - Facetime Elder Gourley 4:00 PM - Debbie's appointment with Brad Gale, PA about her consistent cough Debbie and I slept in; Debbie's cough is getting worse, we had prayer together, and I studied scripture while she got ready to take Ljubica to get her hair cut and drop off a black suit at the dry cleaners near the hair salon she goes to.  I received a nice reply from Mr. Fisher this morning from the email I sent him last night.  I received a notice from Liberty Mutual wanting me to pay the premium due on the Subaru auto insurance policy.  I called them and learned they had no notice we had taken out insurance with Progressive Insurance on our homeowners and auto.  I canceled and they are sending us a refund of $118 on the auto and $1,759 on our homeowners.  ...
