Prioritized Daily Task

10 AM - Church at Abbington Memory Center

12 Noon - Church at Lehi 7th Ward

Today is Fast Sunday, Debbie and I had prayer, showered, got dressed and we, Mikro, Ljubica, Bojana, Debbie, and I, went to set up for church at 10 AM at Abbington Memory Center.  Later at 12 Noon, we attended Fast and Testimony Sacrament Meeting at Lehi 7th Ward, our ward, and afterward attended Sunday School Meeting.  After church Mirko and I drove over to Laura's and picked up a folding table and 6 folding chairs.  Debbie, Mirko, Ljubica, Bojana, Mirko, and I helped get things set up for dinner.  By 3:30 PM most of the children, grandchildren, and friends were here.  Debbie had all sorts of outdoor games set up in the HOA area behind our house and patio.  Laura, Anndalyn, and Jami brought salads.  Debbie made pulled chicken and cooked hamburgers.  George brought several flavors of his homemade ice cream.  Debbie baked brownies, and we sliced up one of the happy cakes Bojana brought from Serbia.  We cleaned up while the children played.  We visited and talked until about 9:30 PM and by then everyone had gone home.  Ryan could not come; Patrick had to leave early, Shelby and Libby were the only ones who could come down from Jody and Tony'f family in Twin Falls.  I talked to Michael today. I called the other children.  Beth called back in the middle of dinner.  I tried to call her back but missed her. We had prayer with Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana.  Later Debbie and I had prayer; I rubbed her feet before going to bed. before 11:30 PM.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W. Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
