Prioritized Daily Task

Call and text Brother Jeff Meeks on the Stake High Council to cover for us at Abbington Memory Center at 10:30 AM church services (did this yesterday)

Mail check for $4,609.43 my 1/3 share of property tax 40 acres in Cleveland, White Co. to Jimmy Morris in Flowery Branch, GA after Eric sees and approves it. (Parcel ID 048A 040 tax $4519.87 - Parcel ID 048A 041 tax $9308.42)

I was up coughing much of the night but feeling some better this morning.  I slept in; Debbie was up and went to Tate's football game that his dad, Jared, coaches.  I had prayer and took medicine, vitamins, and a little less than 10 minutes of breathing Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Solution 0.083%.  I spent the day going through the mail and catching up on my daily journal.  Mirko and I washed the Thulel to take back to Laura and George's later and studying scriptures.  Debbie went shopping later with Jody and Liggy for Libby who is starting college in Provo.  When she got home we all visited and discussed next week with with part of it being Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana going for two or three days with Lon Nield to his family cabin in Jackson Hole, WY.  We discussed our purpose of fasting and talked about what they wanted to fast for before having prayer together.  I did the breathing treatment with the tea and medicine from the pharmacy before having prayer with Debbie and going to bed.  I called and talked to Max Kimball, my good friend in Georgia.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W. Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
