Prioritized Daily Task

1:00 PM - Football game in Provo, BYU vs. Southern Utah, Thunderbirds with the Nield, their grandson, Max, and Jelicics at LaVell Edwards Stadium

6:00 PM - Adult session of Gateway Stake Conference

Debbie and I had prayer and got ready for the day.  I checked on Mirko and Ljubica's flight schedule back to Belgrade.  I sent a copy of the pictures I took to Mike and Susan Root.  I asked them for the names of their children and their families in the pictures.  I also sent Jordan Radman a copy of the picture I took of Him with Mirko, Ljubica, and Bojana at his father and mother's grave in Holiday Memoria Cemetery yesterday.  I checked my blood sugar and glucose level.  It was 88 this morning.  We ate brunch and met Lon and Pat Nield at the health center next to Lon's old business office.  The girls rode with Pat and Lon and his grandson, Max, rode with me to LaVell Edwards Football Stadium.  The Nield had tickets and parking passes for us.  It is a beautiful day and BYU won the game.  When we got home Debbie fixed dinner and we ate and listened to the Adult Session of Stake Conference.   After conference, we watched some TV, visited, and had prayer.  Later Debbie and I had prayer together before going to bed.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W.  20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
