Prioritized Daily Task

10:30 a.m. - McAlpins, church at Abbington Memory Center

6:30 p.m. - 16th birthday party for Tucker and Gracey at Michael and Autumn's

Oct. 11th at Midnight, Michael is leaving for work

Oct 14-15, Gavin is home from School

Oct 27-29 - JC has Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew

Nov 1-7 - Brett and Rae Lynn are in Nashville (Brett's work)

Nov 11-12 - JC may have Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew

Nov 16 - I fly back to Provo and home

Nov 22 - Debbie and I fly to Peru

Nov 23 - Thanksgiving Day

I was up early and showered.  I helped Matt take down the tent and pack the truck when the girls got up.  I had an egg and ham sandwich before we left.  Madeline has a cheer practice in San Marcos at 10 AM.  Matthew dropped Madeline off.  He stopped at Starbucks and got Bella and Ava a cookie and drink.  Madeline left her cheer outfit in the truck.  Matthew took it back and Melodie met us.  The girls rode home with her and I rode with Matthew.  I took a real nice shower and shaved.  When Madeline got home she, Bella, and Ava went to a neighbor 's birthday party.  The neighbor has 2 sisters about the same age as Bella and Ava.  Michael called and let me know he will be home until Wednesday night and is catching a flight.  He will be gone but Gavin will be home from school Saturday.  I took a nap while Debbie is at church.  When I woke she was out of church.  I called her and we had prayer together.  She is going to Laura and George's for dinner.  Jody and Tony are coming too.   Tylee and Max went with Jody and her family 4-wheeling earlier in the week.  Matthew, Melodie, and I rode up to Michael and Autumns with Matt and Melodie for Tucker and Grace's 16th birthday party.  Family and friends came.  Autumn had games focused on Grace and Tucker for everyone to participate in.  Autumn made Gracey favorite white cake with sparklers and Beth had Tucker's favorite, a large chocolate chip cookie.  I enjoyed visiting with Shawn Chapman.  He is married to Autumn's sister, Alli.  Autumn's mother, Laura, and her mother Nemo, and her friend, Art, were here.  Blake's girlfriend,  Randy Davis, his wife and some of the children were here.  Matthew and Melodie had to get back to pickup Madeline, Bella, and Ava from another birthday party.  I visited with Michael, Autumn, Blake, and Grace.  It was after midnight before I had prayer and went to bed.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W. Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
