Prioritized Daily Task

Brett and Rae Lynn in Nashville

I was up at 6 a.m. and had prayer; I got a text from Debbie, called talked to her, and we had prayer together.  Ethan and Luke got up and went to seminary.  I got Owen and Brody up; the boys ate cereal for breakfast and I took Owen and Brody to Dry Creek School.  Brody slept until about 9 a.m., we played, and he went to sleep on the floor.  I woke him at 10:45 a.m. and got him dressed and his shoes on.  His ride came before 11 a.m. ane took him to Kindergarten.   I checked my flight schedule.  I leave from Fresno Airpot at 7 a.m. next Monday.  I called Rae Lynn; she and Brett do not get in until Sunday night.  I called Patt and she will come over Monday, Nov. 6th at about 6 or 6:30 a.m. to watch the children until Rae Lynn and Brett get home.  I read some in Rough Stone Rolling.  I got Michael and Matthew's input on a response to Eric Fisher, Attorney in Atlanta, draft to the partners in A&M Investments.  Matthew is borrowing Micael's motor home to take the girls camping this weekend.  Matthew used the Tesla to jump the batteries to crank the motor home.  Matt bought new batters to crank the engine but he needs to replace the battery to the large generator that runs the refrigerator, lights, etc. in the motor home. He got the motor home to his home is San Marcos and left the Tesla in the storage lot where the Motorhome is kept.  I picked Owen up from soccer practice and brought him home.  Later I took him to football practice.  Ethan went to the girls' volleyball finals.  Their school, Buchanan, won the state of California championship.  We had family prayer and got Westing and Brody to bed.  Ethan, Luke, and Brody did homework.  Owen got home from football practice a few minutes ago.   I had my personal prayer and texted Debbie but she had gone to bed.  I read some before going to sleep.

15 Jul 2023, Saturday Prioritized Daily Task 9:30 AM - walk around the falls and Snake River in Idaho Falls and see Visitor's Center at the Temple Costco Pharmacy and pick up Debbie's medicine for her cough  On the Juel of the Sea, make a deposit with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line for the British Isle Crusie from June 11 to June 23, 2024. 4:00 PM - Pocatello Temple Appointment (Proxy Sealing) with Debbie's aunt, Anita Schrade  6:00 PM - Dinner at Texas Road House Debbie and I had prayer, got dressed, and took Mirko and Ljubica to Idaho Falls.  We walked around the waterfall on both sides of the river and visited the farmer's market.  We all got Acai Bowls with fruit, nuts, and seeds for breakfast.  I took pictures of the island in the middle of the Snake River.  At one time it belonged to the Keefer Family and was named for Fred W. Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
