Debbie was up early.  She took Broder, Laura, and George's dog, home last night.  I had my personal prayer, showered and Debbie got ready; we had prayer together.  Debbie went to get the fingernails done; I worked on finishing packing.  Matthew got up and we drove to Costco and Best Buy.  I returned the old adaptor I bought at Costco almost a year ago and bought a new one the I hope has the bugs corrected.  We went to Best Buy and bought an extender and a cable to connect the adaptor with the transmitter.  We came home and Matthew is connecting everything in the theater room.  I worked on packing for Peru, and took Matthew to the Provo Airport.  I dropped him off.  I came home, Debbie called Uber and we got a ride to the SLC Airport.  After going through security we caught our Delta flight to LA.  We checked in at Latam Airlines and got our boarding passes to Lima, Peru.  We border about midnight and arrived the next morning about 8:00 a.m.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
