I was up early this morning.  I had prayer and took Luke to Seminary across from Buchanan High School.  Ethan was not feeling well this morning.  When I got home, I got Owen and Brody up.  They had cereal for breakfast and I took them to Dry Creek Elementary School.  Westin got up and got in bed with Ethan.  He and I had cereal for breakfast.  Owen called and needed his basketball bag he left in the SUV this morning.  Ethan is taking it to him on his way to school.  A team from the solar company came by and worked on the equipment here at the house.  They left their card; they do pressure washing also.  I took a picture of the card and sent it to Brett and gave Ethan the card to give to his dad when he gets home.  I washed and dried some clothes today.  Debbie told me this morning that Kenna had the baby this morning at 2:18 a.m.  They named him Grayson.  I fixed dinner, Chicken Alfredo, for Ethan  Luke, Owen, his friends Drew and big Brody, Bordy, and Westin.  They played video games and watched TV.  Samantha Gourley Traveller's car was hit from behind.  She is about 6 or 7 months pregnant.  When the car hit her from behind she was pinned against the string wheel and the brakes were locked.  Her car had to be towed.  She was rushed to the emergency room.  At first, the medics could not hear the baby's heartbeat.  Later it came back strong.  After dinner I let the children play video games and I read.  At 9 p.m. I had prayer with Luke, Brody, and Westin.  Owen is spending the night with some of his friends that were here earlier and Ethan is out with his friends.  I got Westin and Brody in their parents' bet with the TV on.  I called and talked to Debbie and we had prayer together.  She has Brother and Sister Jeff Meeks covering for her while I am in CA. and she is going to be in Idaho this Sunday with the new baby, Grayson.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
