I was up early this morning.  I called and talked to Debbie; she and Karlene are starting to paint the inside of their mother, Jalna's, house they are selling.  We had prayer together.  I went with Matthew to take the girls to school.  We came home and picked Melodie up and drove to Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery in Oceanside.  We got a pickup truck and trailer load of plants. We got back just in time for Matt's meeting at 1 p.m.  I unloaded the plants. Matt has two Hispanic men setting them out. They have been working for Matt for some time now and do a good job.  Melodie went and picked the girls up from school.  Matthew and I took the pickup truck and trailer to Clausen Nursery in Vista, CA.  The people working here are very nice.  The larger trees were to large for the truck and trailer and the owner, Gordan, told Matthew he would have the trees delivered tomorrow morning to his home.  Matthew and I took the trailer back to Home Depot.  We came home and started putting the girls' bunk beds together.  Matt is patient with them; he worked with them reading the instructions and putting the bed together.  Afterwards, he and Melodie got the girls to bed.  He came to the casa and had a phone call with his developers in Pakistan.  When Matthew had finished his meeting I called Debbie.  She was just getting in bed.  She and Karlene are going to the Idaho Falls Temple in the morning.  We had prayer and used the vibrator on Matt's back.  I read some and went to sleep.  This has been a full day.  Gordan Clausen's offering to bring the large trees Matthew bought from him made it possible to take the Home Depot rental trailer back on the way home saved us perhaps an hour and a half to be able to work on the girl's bunk bed.

Keffer.  He built a 14 X 22-foot one-room cabin on the Island.  His family was from Pennsville Pa. and settled in...

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is...

 17 Feb 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task Call Elbert Angel about Ora's land deed in Haralson County, GA abt 60 acres 4:00 PM - Appointment with Sam at Wells Fargo Bank to get Debbie on our estimated tax account *Note:  The story of young John Taylor, a convert to the church, was in NY City preparing for a mission to England in 1837.  He had been telling people he had all the money he needs; he is all set.  Parley P. Pratt was also in NY City on a different kind of mission, a publication mission, to get the word out here in NY.  He hears stories that John Taylor has money and I need all the help I can get, with printing cost,  paper, ink, and, to pay a typesetter, so he goes to John Taylor and asks him, “Do you have any money?”  Elder Taylor says, “Yes, I have plenty of money.”  Elder Pratt says, “Ah, good, can I have $2 or $3 hundred dollars to pursue the work I am called to do?”   Brother Taylor gets a big smile on his face and...
