Prioritized Daily Task

Note: Today I’m a little bummed to start taking down our Christmas decorations but this poem by Howard Thurman touched my heart: When the song of the angels is stilled, When the star in the sky is gone, When the king and the people are home, When the shepherds are back with their flocks, The work of Christmas begins: To find the lost, To heal the broken, To feed the hungry, To release the prisoner, To rebuild the nations, To bring peace among people, To make music in the heart.

I got my 8 hours of sleep, had my personal prayer, and let Debbie sleep.  She was exhausted from her trip and work in Shelly.  Debbie is taking down Christmas decorations and I moved the car out of the garage.  I will put the decorations up on the storage racks.  I called Storyworth, (888) 745-1080.  I have 54 pages now without any pictures.  The price for black and white $39.00 with a 10% discount for orders of over 10 books and 20% for orders over 20.  The price goes up to $79 if printed in color.  We studied scriptures, and prayer before going to bed at about 11 p.m.

 20 Aug 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task Ryan and Stephanie Hobbs' 20th Wedding Anniversary I got up and had my personal prayer.  When Debbie got up we had prayer together.  I showered, shaved, and started to make reservations to go tomorrow evening to see a Shakespeare Festival play, TIMON OF ATHENS, at the Eileen and Allen Anes Studio Theatre at the college in Cedar City.  Jody Jenkins, my mission president's daughter, was in charge of the Shakespeare Festival at the college before she retired.  I knew it was Sunday and something I should wait until tomorrow to do, so I did not complete the purchase.  I will check and see if I can get tickets tomorrow.  Debbie and Ljubica fixed breakfast and afterward, Bojana cleaned the kitchen.  We followed our neighbors to church this morning.  *Note: In the sacrament meeting, the text in one of the songs, Upon the Cross of Calvery, "death unlocks the passageway into eternity".  The text is by Vilate Raile, born in 1890.  Ano

CA con #44823070 and #86167039 Holiday Inn Express Strip the beds, wash and dry linen - pack and load the Subaru 12 Noon: Church with Beth and children in San Clemente - Mike Murdock 4:00 PM - Birthday party at Michael and Autumn's for Maggie Mirko, Ljubic, and Bojana waded in the Pacific Ocean near Michael's 11:00 PM - Holiday Inn Express in Lebec, CA Debbie and I slept in, had prayer, and studied scriptures.  We stripped our beds, and Ljubica, and Bojana stripped their beds.  Debbie washed and dried all our dirty clothes, bed linen, and towels.  Later we made beds and cleaned the bedrooms and bathrooms.   Matthew helped us load the luggage on top of the SUV.  We drove up to San Clemente and attended church in Michael and Autumn's old ward where Beth now attends.  We missed sacrament and during the Priesthood meeting, Mirko and I went back in the chapel.  Debbie, Ljubica, and Bojana stayed in the chapel and we all were ab
