 30 Dec 2023, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  Karlene and Joe L. Higham's 42nd Wedding anniversary Pat and Anndalyn's today for dinner I got a good night's sleep but getting a slight cold.  I had my personal prayer as I do each morning and night.  Debbie is still sleeping as are Ryan, Stephanie, Kylie, her boyfriend Casey, Abbey, Tylee, Ellie, and Clara.  The boys, Carter, Mackay, and Drew spent the night at Patt and Anndalyn's with their cousins, Camdon, Audrey, and Braddock.  Ryan and Stephanie went for a run this morning.  Debbie and I had prayer, showered, and got ready for the day.  I sent Karlene and Joe L. a happy 42nd-anniversary greeting from me and Debbie.  Debbie cooked breakfast for everyone.   Ryan and I cleaned the dishes and kitchen.  We all got ready and rode over to Pat and Anndalyn's.  Pat ordered pizzas and Anndalyn made salads.  We had lunch, played games, and watched football and basketball.  Later Pat turned the heat on the pool and hot tub. 

 29 Dec 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  Debbie and I had prayer together; I went to the grocery store and picked up food for the rest of the week and New Years.  Debbie and I cleaned and vacuumed the house.  We worked on the collection of notes, thoughts, and quotes for 2023 to be printed.  At 5:30 p.m. Debbie met George, Laura, and their family at Thanksgiving point to see the Luminary.  We had prayer and went to bed.  I've spent almost a week trying to get a set of brown wiring Permanent Outdoor Lights from Govee.  I talked to customer service and was told to send an email.  I sent 3 emails and they will not respond.  I will get some outdoor brown spray paint for plastic and some blue masking tape.  I will tape the lights and spray-paint the wiring.  When Debbie got home we had prayer and I went to bed.  Later before midnight Ryan, Stephanie, and the children came and spent the night.

 28 Thursday 2023, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task  Olin Brown Reynolds 1st Birthday (sent him a text to his mother's phone at midnight) Note:  Today I’m a little bummed to start taking down our Christmas decorations but this poem by Howard Thurman touched my heart: When the song of the angels is stilled, When the star in the sky is gone, When the king and the people are home, When the shepherds are back with their flocks, The work of Christmas begins: To find the lost, To heal the broken, To feed the hungry, To release the prisoner, To rebuild the nations, To bring peace among people, To make music in the heart.  27 Dec 2023, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task   Debbie comes home from Reed and Laura's in Shelly I slept in; got 8 hours of of good restful sleep.  I had my personal prayer.  I called Debbie at Reed and Laura's.  They will try and finish the work on their mother's home with Karlene.  I called Govee customer service and sent a text with pictures regarding the permanent lights Matthew gave us for Christmas.  The lights are connected with a white electric cord, and our house trim is brown.  I worked on getting our Quotes and Thoughts from the 2023 journal ready to be printed.  I went to the Legacy Center and exercised for about 45 minutes.  Debbie called and is coming home tonight.  I helped her unpack the car; we got ready for bed.  We had prayer and thanked the Lord for all his blessings He has blessed us, our family, and all His children before going to bed.  I talked to Matthew today; he has not got the paperwork for his new office and can't move in until it is comp

  25 Dec 2023, Monday Priorit ized Daily Task  Christmas Day at the Cabin and home in Lehi Luke Olin Lively's 13th Birthday Cabin in Heber with Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, Ava, Vickie Earlton B. Youngblood called and wished us a happy birthday Open Christmas gifts            Make gingerbread houses I was up at 7 a.m., had my personal prayer, Debbie had got up earlier.  When I heard the girls I got up.  We spent the morning opening presents and eating.  Earlton Youngblood called and wished us a Merry Christmas.  I called and talked to Michael, Beth, and Rae Lynn.  Michael was home with his family as was Rae Lynn.  Beth had brought Tucker, Maggie, and Andrew up to Fresno and Clovis where their father, JC, had picked them up for the Christmas holidays.  Beth had spent time with her mother and Reg and with Rae Lynn and her family.  Debbie and I sent soft Minky Blankets to all the grandchildren.  Alex, Gavin, Blake, and Gracey had received theirs.  Madeleine, Bella, and Ava opene

 24 Dec 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  Christmas Eve dinner with Laura, George, and the children Christmas Eve at the Cabin in Heber with Matthew, Melodie, Madeline, Isabella, and Ava Dinner at George and Lauiar 5 -6 p.m.  Lori Lynn called and came by the cabin with her brother Jason Debbie and I got to the cabin about 7:45 p.m. Children made sugar cookies for Santa We put on a Christmas pageant with the children Debbie read the Christmas Orange story and gave them a chocolate orange in a Christmas box to share Debbie and I had prayer and ate breakfast.   We packed and put some things in the SUV.  At Noon, we attended Sacrament Meeting and special Christmas Program in the Lehi 7th Ward.  After church, I helped put up the folding chairs in the overflow.  We took food and Christmas presents to take to the cabin in Heber.  We drove to George and Laura Gourley's.  All the children except Elder Alex Gourley who is serving a mission in Boston were there.  Pat, Anndalyn, and all th

23 Dec 2023, Saturday Priorit ized Daily Task  Call Matthew and Melodie about doing a Christmas pageant tomorrow evening I was up early, had my personal prayer, and when Debbie woke we had prayer together.  She finished adding her thoughts and quotes to mine last night.  Now I can get it ready to be printed in a book to give to all our children's families.  Ryan and Stephanie, Abbey, and her friend Bronson, with Cooper, Mackay, and Andrew came over and brought Christmas presents.  We gave them presents to take back to Logan with them.  We drove over to Patrick and Anndalyn's and gave them presents for Christmas.  I talked to Matthew and made plans for tomorrow evening to have a Christmas pageant.  Debbie and I worked on getting costumes and things ready for tomorrow evening.  Debbie and I packed most of the things we will be taking up to the cabin tomorrow in the SUV.  We had prayer and went to bed.

 22 Dec 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  Westlake Pharmacy - compound prescription from Dr. James Macdonal IKA Zupa for lunch with Karlene and Joe L The Giving Machine at City Creek Mall movie, Robin Hood Debbie was up early talking to Jody and working on our quotes and thoughts for 2023 we are putting in a book to give to all the children.  We had prayer and I drove out to Westlake Pharmacy to pick up the compound medication Dr. James Macdonal, Dermatologist ordered.  I filled the SUV with gas before coming home.  We went to IKA and picked up a pillow Karlene wanted and met her and Joe L. before his doctor's appointment for lunch at Zupa's.  Joe L. is weak and not eating well.  Debbie gave her the things we brought for her.  Afterward, I took Debbie to City Creek Mall in Salt Lake City across from the Temple.  Debbie wanted to see the Giving Machine and Share the Light.  It was cold and I got us both a cup of hot chocolate while we stood in line for over an hour waiting t

 21 Dec 2023, Thursday Priorit ized Daily Task  Mail Christmas presents to Rae Lynn, Brett, and the boys Pick up the prescription at Costco Exercise at Legacy Center Debbie and I had prayer, I showered, shaved, and drove to the post office and mailed Ethan, Luke, Owen, Broday, and Westin's Christmas presents.  I went to the Legacy Center to exercise; afterward, I  picked up medicine for my thyroid.  I came home and ordered gift cards for Christmas and Debbie's birthday. (Hale Theater in Sandy Fiddler on the Roof Jan 26th, 7 p.m. and for Christmas and Stretch Lab for her Birthday when she wants to go.  Matthew got a ski rack to put on the back of the SUV.  They, Matt, Melodie, Madeline, Isabella, Ava, and Vickie, came to visit after they finished skiing today.  Debbie fixed dinner and we visited and worked on the excursions for our cruise May 5-12, 2024 with the 12-year-olds.   We had prayer with them before they left to go back up to the cabin.  Debbie and I watched a Christmas

 20 Dec 2023, Wednesday Priorit ized Daily Task  Jody and Tony Traveller's 27th Wedding Anniversary I had prayer this morning.  Debbie got a call earlier from Jody, her daughter.  They talked for 3 hours.  I called and talked to Debbie and wished them a Merry Christmas.  They are not moving to Tallahassee, FL.  They have their home in Cedartown and their apartment across the street from the Atlanta Temple where they work.  Debbie and I sent Jody and Tony. a happy 27th-anniversary text.  I made a cooler of  guanábana  ice cream.  Debbie took Shelby's Apple Computer and turned it in for a credit for her.   She then went by to see Samantha's nursery she has set for for the new baby and then went and got her hair done.  After I made the ice cream, I took the Come Follow Me Lesson Manual for 2024 to Jane Haws and her husband Mark for a Christmas present.  From there I went to the Legacy Center to exercise for about an hour.  I came home, picked up the mail, and watched TV.  I ca

 19 Dec 2023, Tuesday Priorit ized Daily Task  Park City Ski Resort Avery Robinson called me this morning.  She wanted to be sure I had a copy of her Grandma Ora's life history she wrote.  I suggested she purchase some extra copies for Palmer, Lela Ruth, and other nieces, nephews, and her own children and grandchildren.  I had my personal prayer, showered, shaved, and talked to Debbie before we loaded both SUVs and drove up to Park City.  I helped Matthew and the girls, Melodie, Madeline, Bella, and Ava with their skis, boots, poles, etc.  They had ski passes and skied most of the day.  Ava was the first to call it quits.  She came into the lodge and joined Vickie and me.  I bought her a cheese pizza and root beer.  I shared the food I bought, chicken tenders, french fries, chile, etc. with everyone.  Melodie shared the food she brought from the cabin.   After the resort closed I helped Ava get back with Matt and Melodie at the SUV.  I took everyone's boots, poles, skis, helmet

17 Dec 2023, Sunday Priorit ized Daily Task  James Reynolds' 9th Birthday 10:30 a.m. - church at Abbington Memory Center 12:00 noon - Lehi 7th Ward meeting 5:00 p.m. - Sheby, Nick Swensen, and one of their friends for dinner Tell Elder Quorum President, Derek Soderquist, that Glenn Smith has only a couple of weeks or more to live. Saratoga Springs Temple Seling Session 9:00 a.m. - Saratoga Springs Endowment session 10:45 a.m. - Saratoga Springs Initatory session I was up early this morning, had prayer, Debbie got up and we had prayer together; We got dressed and drove two vehicles to the temple.  We went on two sealing sessions.  Debbie had to leave at 9 a.m. to get things ready for this weekend; I went on an endowment session and a sealing session.  After the temple, I stopped at Arby's and got a roast beef sandwich with French dip.  I called Debbie to see if she wanted me to bring her anything home for lunch.  15 Dec 2023, Friday Priorit ized Daily Task  9:45 a.m. James Macdonald Revere Health Dermatology at Revere Health Dermatology.  I was up early, had prayer, showered, and shaved.  Debbie got up and worked on our quotes and thoughts from my 2023 notes in my journal.  We had prayer together before I drove to Provo to see Dr. Macdonald,  Dermatologist.   His office in Provo is very modern and nice in the medical center near the hospital.  He froze and scraped places on my face.  He also gave me a prescription for a new and maybe more effective skin pre-cancer places.  I drove to Costco and filled the Outback with gas.  i went over the the Legacy Center for an hour.  I used the weights for about 20 minutes, the stair stepper for about 20 minutes, and then walked and jogged for about another 20 minutes before coming home.  Debbie is working on Christmas and birthdays.  She went over to Laura's and I worked on Apple charges each month for $10.71 for iTunes.  I don't think Debbie and
